Tenzin is Tibetan for “preserver of the ancient teachings”. And just as much a lesson in culinary art is the success story behind Lobsang Reichlin, Chimey Nelung and namesake Tenzin, aka Tenz, Tibatsang. As short as the nickname might be; that much longer are the queues in front of Tenz’s Momo stall at Zurich’s favourite street food festivals. So it was only a question of time until this Swiss-Tibetan trio opened up their own restaurant. And from day one, gourmets from all walks of life have been flocking to the new location of this congenial young crew of restaurateurs at Lochergut who are all addicted to one thing: Momos – a Tibetan speciality of steamed dumplings served fresh with juicy fillings (meat, vegetarian or vegan) – and spiced with a fiery chili sauce, depending on your fancy. A success story that tastes just great to us!
